Brief Write up of Most Successful Research Projects:

While the quality of research papers published is the index of the success of Academic Research, success of application-oriented research at the centre is measured in terms of the Technologies, Products and Patents that it has led to, as well as the extent of their successful commercialisation. In this sense, the following are some of the most successful outcomes from our R&D activities—

  • i-SecureIT, an internet security trainer platform; commercialised.
  • Bioask, A semantic search engine for Life Sciences researchers; commercialised.
  • WebGuard, a solution for web-face defacement attacks; being commercialised.
  • Flurobact, a rapid low cost pathogen detection system; being commercialised.
  • Anti-angiogenesis patent; commercialisation being explored.
  • Information Extraction- Knowledge Discovery Engine; commercialisation being explored
