A Travel grant committee has been constituted by the Vice Chancellor with Director, CPDE as convener and Senior Professors from the constituent colleges of Anna University as members. A substantial amount was allocated in the budget for travel abroad by faculty members of Anna University. The committee is to scrutinize the applications received from faculty members who wish to present their research work in the International conferences or International symposium. On an average 15 to 20 faculty members are recommended every year, to present their research work with a travel grant of Rs.10.00 lakhs.
